Artifex Rex

Our aim with this event was to play with time and inevitability. We ripped the participants out of their own time and pushed them back into an old legend, the Drowned Hundred, where they knew that the kingdom was doomed to fall as the sea-walls failed and water swept over it — while in their proper time, events marched on that they were powerless to affect, unless they changed things in the past.

I’m told we managed to pull it off without the resolution feeling railroaded.

I was co-writer and co-director of the event. It was one of our most detailed, and my favourite of our fantastical events.
